5 Tips to Help Your Employees Productivity

Nothing like an unsure economy and job market to keep your company off its game. You need employees at their best, especially in hard times. With that in mind, here are some wellness tips from the American Psychological Association:

  • Don’t panic.  Take a deep breath.  Don’t get swept up in the doom-and-gloom hype. Stay calm, focused and realistic so you can consider all of your options carefully.
  • Worried about finances?  Make a plan and get your expenses under control.  We all have places we can do this.
  • Recognize increases in unhealthy behaviors such as emotional eating, drinking, or smoking.  These behaviors can all lead to bigger problems.
  • Turn difficult times into opportunities for positive changes.  Learn a new skill.  Take a walk.  Have family dinners.  Take inventory of the things in your control and get them in order one by one.
  • Ask for professional help with your financial planning if you need it.  Credit counseling services and financial planners are easy to find.  If you are overwhelmed by your worries, consider talking to a psychologist.

Your employees’ best health is your wealth.  Sharing health and wellness tools with them helps them become a better expense for your company.
