Wellness Leader Up 664 Spots on List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

NEW YORK, August 24, 2010 – For the fourth consecutive year, Plus One Health Management, Inc. has announced that they were selected as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the country by Inc. magazine.

Plus One, whose clients include some of the most prestigious Fortune 500 companies in the nation, is a leading provider of comprehensive employee wellness solutions.  The Inc. 5000 ranking is a measure of the company’s 82% revenue growth since 2006.  This growth can be attributed to a combination of factors, including:

The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2006 to 2009.  Plus One Health Management placed at 2,748, up 664 places from last year’s 3,412 ranking.  To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2009.

While the Inc. 5,000 recognizes Plus One’s growth through 2009, the current fiscal year has also proven to be very positive for the company.  The past few months alone have seen wellness service expansion at five Fortune 100 clients as well as facility openings for a leading insurance firm, spirits company, and a biotech client in Puerto Rico.
