Plus One COO Chris Ciatto named by Club Industry International as a top industry innovator
Chris Ciatto Named to Fitness Industry Top Innovators List, Club Business Industry Magazine

Chris Ciatto
list of top innovators in the fitness industry.
The magazine compiled the list in honor of the International Health and Racquet Sport Association's 26th anniversary, and ranks Ciatto in the top five of the industry's movers and shakers.
Ciatto was the captain of two championship teams in high school and another while attending Princeton University and, a few years later, he earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Throughout his career – which has included stints at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York City, McKinsey & Company, Inc. in Boston, and the Aramark Corporation in Philadelphia – he constantly hoped that, one day, he'd be able to indulge both his athletic and business interests. That opportunity came in 2005 when he joined Plus One Health Management, which designs and implements fitness and wellness programs for many of the nation's leading corporations.
As Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for operations at the 65 centers that Plus One manages across the country, as well as the company's growth strategies, including acquisitions, new vertical market penetration, and new service offerings.
Ciatto says that the most significant challenge facing the fitness industry is the rising cost of health care. The industry, he says, needs to work with corporations to maximize their fitness and wellness initiatives, in order to make the most of preventive measures.
